I just learned how to make international calls from my mobile or PC! More on that later…Here is some iPhone and mobile apps news for you, which is timely because I just had to suffer through an internet phone Phone outage, which really stinks overall, but that is hpw it goes sometimes I suppose. Still, it should be noted that the Apple corporation still rules it’s domain, the bottom line is that it’s competitors have yet to be able to match it’s very effective marketing and stylish designs, I mean, it is true that many professionals such as lawyers and the like tend to prefer the blackberry, the internet Phone has held it’s grip onthe American public for some time now and continues to do so. I mean, Apple is just a lkittle more savvy than the competition out there at this point in time. All in all, here is likewise some timely Dropbox news: for instance, the BlackBerry version allows you to see various different uploaded files on the device in question. Having said that, though, it should also be noted as well that the application in question here worked pretty damn well on the Blackberry Curve 3G and yet did not work too well at all choked on a BlackBerry Bold 9700, which is kind of strange when you stop to think about it really. I like the softphone and internet phone myself because you can make international calls from your cell phone or mobile by using skype….Dropbox for iPhone and/or the iPod Touch is even yet more advanced still, with features to download you files for offline viewing, swipe through photo galleries, and open Dropbox files in other internet phone and iPad apps. But I mean how cool is that to be able to make international calls from your cell phone (or mobile, etc) with no prepaid calling cards, long distance service, voip, pc etc. Changing gears back to Apple, one complaint I do have about them is that if you need a Repair they are a lkittle slower than I would personally like. I suppose for many folks that is not a critical issue but for me, I would like a speedy repair if my iPhone suffers water damage, a cracked 3g screen or somethink like that. If you are like me and time is a big issue and priority, i can recommend the firm Ubreakifix dot com. For their part, they specialize in fast iPhone reapir. They are based in Orlando or somewhere like that in Florida. They are really good in my opinion and can have your iPhone reapir done relatively fast if you send it to them.
