Well it is good to be back in Denver CO, had a terrific trip but my license lost a few points because of a traffic ticket, moving on: All in all If you are seriously hiring a licensed general electricians contractor or even a team of such contractors to manage a remodel or some sort of addition to your home such a s deck, for example, the most vital aspect to accept in order to have the optimal experience, at least here in Denver CO or even Arvada and lakewood or Englewood, CO is this (not quite comprehensive but a good start anyway) list. Also remember that it is not that easy to get an electricians and electrical contractors license and become a Denver Co Electricians on the whole, as the standards are quite strict indeed so you can go on do things like celing fans, Outlet replacement, Denver Co Breaker tripping, Electrical panel upgrade, Arvada and Denver Co Lighting installation for security, etc.. Be sure to follow this checklist:
• Did he/she complete the project on time?
• Were you happy with the workmanship?
• Did they keep a clean worksite?
• Did he/she keep to the budget?
• Did he/she oversee and manage the subcontractors and their work?
• Were they around as much as you felt they should have been through the process?
• Did they purchase quality materials at a good price?
• Did they obtain all the proper permits and supply you with all paperwork
You may think this may all be a little much, but an ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure. You won’t have to look far to find stories of contracting nightmares. A good contractor needs many skills, talents, and virtues.
Do not automatically select the cheapest bid. That should not be the most important consideration, although of course it is important to find a g. c. who will work to keep your costs down. A cheap bid may indicate a contractor who does not plan properly, cuts corners, or who simply does a poor job at estimating expenses.
Remember that when seeking remodeling or expansion services, or looking to make repairs of damages from natural disasters, you are very vulnerable to con artists, unlicensed contractors, contractors who don’t carry proper insurance, and contractors who use off-the-books labor. There are too many ways to go wrong to list them all.
You cannot be too careful.
